oh my goodness, i am bursting in the seams with excitement about the art projects and decoration ideas for dray's party, and i am just dying to share! but the super secret keeper in me is telling me nooooo, cannot!!! is it a virgo thing? like, you're just so scared someone may steal or copy your idea? lol!
there have been some major developments in terms of the party theme, and in light of this, so many more decor ideas (which translates to many more craft work), menu additions (namely the dessert section!) and party-favor inclusions has been added on. this means a lot of pre-party DIYing for me, but the thought of how perfect it will all be for the party, keeps me excited more than anything else!
i'm actually glad we made changes to the theme - all thanks to Noel, who came up with the brilliant suggestion, while we were brainstorming for ideas on the party decorations. i have spent the past four days scouring for decor ideas each time i get online, that that is the only thing i do on the laptop, besides checking my emails. all that i found are similar ideas on each website i land on, all too common and repeatedly done before, which is why i'm super excited with the ideas i've come up with! ideas that come inspired from pictures i see, and some that come while i'm just sitting and staring blankly at the screen. heh.
ok lah, enough about the party! =)
tomorrow we're going to the beach with Gerry and Fara (Dray's playclub teachers), and Hasanah and family. Hasanah teaches Play Nursery at JGC, and she's also my ex-colleague. hopefully Alexis can make it too, she's been real sick the past few days. whatever it is, it's gonna be fun for sure!
for tonight, noel's out with nal (they've gone night crabbing at god-knows-where), so its just me and the little man at home. he's playing monopoly on my iPhone (don't ask me how, he learned how to play it all on his own!), and i've just downloaded episode 17 of desperate housewives' season 6, so i'm gonna enjoy some girly time! after that i may just watch the movie that's waiting on my iPhone. final destination 4. i downloaded it via w.tv.
alrighty, time to take a break from all the party planning and enjoy some quiet time!
